I am Byron Jupiter. I run a recording studio that is a safe haven for talented people.
I grew up in record stores, music equipment stores, recording studios, and in front of an audience. As a customer in the record store, I listened and read the credits. That time is what makes me special.
Today almost anyone can afford the tools it took me a childhood of access to earn in the 1980s. But most people do not realize what they are holding.
I buy and sell gear. I buy it to learn the technology, test its theories and claims, and go through every stage of its evolution. This is research and development: the ground truth.
Before this, I worked as a network technology technician, a maintenance technician, a fiber and cable installer, and in frequency engineering. I bring that technical background into the studio.
My mission is simple: I will do well by doing good.
